Next Parish Council meeting - 10 May 2023
Due to the election on 4 May 2023 the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council and the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday 10 May 2023.
The meetings will start at 6.30pm in the Sports Pavilion on Rupert Street, Lower Pilsley
All residents welcome to attend.

The Council is very keen to hear from residents on the Council's plans. We would like to understand your needs and priorities so that they can be included in the business plan.
The consultation began in January 2023 but the Council has not received feedback although we know from Social Media that there are lots of ideas in the community.

Cemetery Tap
The cemetery tap is switched off at the mains and Severn Trent Water are unable to switch it back on as there is a water leak at the connected site, The Commercial Inn.
They have issued the owner with a notice requesting contact so they can gain access to the premises. If no contact is made efforts will be made via the potential new owner if the inn is sold at auction next week.

Elections - Voter ID is required
If you're planning to vote in the 2023 Local Elections, you'll need to bring your photo ID (Voter ID) with you to the polling station.

Update from Pilsley Safer Neighbourhood Team
Police have advised they will…
Increase targeted patrols where Anti-Social Behaviour is high.
Regular patrols around schools at pick up and drop off times.
Monitor parking issues and deal with them accordingly.
Conduct speed checks were safe and possible.

On Wednesday 22 March two speed indicator devices will be installed on:
1) Morton Road on lamppost number 65570 and
2) Parkhouse Road lamppost number 65884
