Derbyshire County Council (DCC) are consulting on issues affecting local travel on our roads. One of the roads they are looking at is the A61 between Chesterfield and Clay Cross, which is likely to see a number of new housing and commercial developments in the years ahead. This could make the road busier.
They are now looking at how we can manage congestion and reduce emissions on the road and provide people who live along it with alternative ways to travel.
Although Pilsley residents may not be directly impacted there are knock on effects on the traffic you will be impacted by.
DCC want to build the views of people who use the A61 South and live near it into that work. So, they have a survey, which asks you how you use the road and what you think about some potential options to improve it.
It should take you around 10 minutes to answer the questions.
