Pilsley Celebration of Queen's Platinum Jubilee
The Parish Council has set up up a community steering group to decide how best to celebrate this event (2-5/6/2022),
RESIDENTS ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE STEERING GROUP.
The group will be made up of any interested residents, the Parish Council; Fete Group; PVSA; WI; Church

New financial support for households facing hardship this winter
Households facing financial hardship can now apply to the Household Support Fund for help towards their food and essential living costs.
Payments will be worth £64 per household plus an extra £20 will be provided for each partner/spouse and any dependent children.
A maximum of two payments will be available from the fund until the end of March next year.

Village Carol Concert
Please accept the Council's apologies that the Village Carol Concert will not be going ahead again this year.
The Council will consider holding it next year, all being well in relation to Covid and its mutations, if residents see this as something they would like to attend.

Sampson's Field Roundabout - Out of Order
The roundabout at Sampson's Field needs repairing, which the Council is looking into. A notice and cones were situated around the roundabout at end of July to indicate it was not to be used. Unfortunately the notice and cones have been removed.
We do not have additional cones to put out ad the roundabout remains out of use until repair can be sorted

Flu Jabs
Well Pharmacy - Book your 'flu jab early!
Well Pharmacy on Bridge Street have asked us to remind residents that they are able to offer 'flu jabs. Provisionally, these start on 20th September this year and they have started to take bookings now in order to ensure that sufficient supplies are allocated to the Pilsley Pharmacy.
