ROAD SAFETY STICKERS FOR YOUR DUSTBINS

The Parish Council has obtained a supply of stickers promoting road safety which can be placed on residents' dustbins.The stickers show a 30mph road sign inside a red ring with PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY underneath.The idea is that when the dustbins are put out on the pavement for collection they will be seen by passing motorists who will hopefully take notice of the message.The stickers are available... SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT IN PILSLEY

At around 12:45 on Tuesday 6th June 2017, the Police received a report about the occupants of a white van on Prospect Road, Pilsley, who were trying to access rear gardens unsuccessfully.

The Police are asking residents of the village to be vigilant and report anything suspicious. Any information can be passed to the Safer Neighbourhood Team at Clay Cross Police Station by dialling 101.

COMPANION DOG SHOW AND CAR BOOT/TABLE TOP SALE

The Pilsley Fete Group are running a Companion Dog Show in conjunction with a Car Boot/Table top sale at the Parish Sports Ground (Miners' Welfare) on Rupert Street on Sunday, 18th June 2017.

Play Equipment Installation - Parkhouse Green

Work was scheduled to start on the installation of extra play equipment on Parkhosue Green on Thursday of this week (8th June) but, unfortunately, the contractor has been held up at another site due to the poor weather conditions.
